Red Arrow was founded by Ben Koberstein in 2017. Ben, a former Specialist with the US Army acquired extensive experience on various cranes and rigging equipment while serving in the military. After his service, Ben went to worked for a crane training company, but realized that the training methods they employed were not as in depth or practical as what he had gained while in the military.
Late in 2017, Red Arrow opened with a mission to improve the training and recertification experience for Operators and companies by employing a highly effective, convenient, and with a practical approach and an affordable cost structure.
Extensive Training by the Military That Translates to a Better Training Foundation
We are a veteran-owned business and employ highly-trained former military crane and rigging operators. Each has years of hands-on crane and rigging experience. Many other Training Programs don’t have this intense background. As a matter of fact, many have just simply been trained how to train.
Breathing Life and Understanding into a Complicated and Intimidating Process
Not everyone learns the same way. We take our personal learning experiences from the military and teach to the audience, adjusting how we present the information. In general, we take the book content and breathe life into it so it becomes more practical. Applications and calculations are easier to understand. And the result? A highly effective experience for the Operators and improved proficiency and safety for the Owners.
The Red Arrow approach is unique. We remove that intimidation and replace it with a solid, easy-to understand foundation. Operators that understand the foundation and processes work more safely and efficiently, resulting better project flow and fewer OSHA incidents, a win-win for all involved.
On-Site Crane and Rigging Training
On-site training is the most efficient and effective means to train your crane and rigging Operators. Not only is it convenient, it saves on travel expenses and job down-time. Additionally, training an Operator on the equipment they will be using, in the environment they will be working, contributes to both short and long-term operating efficiencies. Understanding the idiosyncracies of each piece of equipment and how to operate them in the most efficient way given their environment, saves time and expensive, unintended wear and tear on
equipment.
Affordable Cost Structure
On-site training is the most most effective way to provide training for your team as discussed above. But the additional benefit is that we don’t have to purchase, maintain and insure all the various types of cranes and riggings. We pass that cost savings on to you.
