Crane and Rigging Operators are an important and in-demand profession. According to Salary.com, the average Crane Operator salary in the United States is $43,488 but can range between $39,063 and $53,799. Salary varies depending on education, certifications, additional skills, and experience. That’s were we come in.
Red Arrow works with construction and crane companies from around the country. But we not only have on-site crane and rigging training, we also provide initial or supplemental training for individuals looking to start, change or enhance their careers. Let us help step up your career.
Typically every three to four months we offer a week-long group crane and rigging training course at a facility in Wisconsin. Groups will consist of 4-10 individuals and will include our standard training and certification testing.
MOBILE CRANE
The mobile crane NCCCO certification is broken into 4 different types.
– Fixed Cab*
– Swing Cab
– Lattice Crawler
– Lattice Truck
To achieve any of these certifications you have to pass a 90 question core exam along with a 26 question specialty exam that corresponds with the type of crane.
You are also required to pass a hands on practical exam for the type of crane you are seeking certification for.

DIGGER DERRICK OPERATOR
The NCCCO Digger Derrick Operator certification is a stand alone certification that requires you to pass a 75 question written exam and a hands on practical exam.
TOWER CRANE
SIGNAL PERSON
The NCCCO Signalperson Certification requires you to pass a 60 question written exam and a hands on practical exam. This certification covers the many crane types so you can safely navigate crane operations at your job site.
